When it comes to fast-food, we like to think of ourselves as connoisseurs. After all, we did bring you the ultimate guide to which chains give you the most fries and even cross-compared every crispy chicken sandwich in the quick-serve universe. But when it comes to picking a favorite, we don't think we could ever pick just one.

In a new study by The Harris Poll, however, America has spoken. The favorite, and most well-known, burger chain in the country is now Five Guys, Fortune reports. That's right - West Coast darling In-N-Out has finally lost its longstanding title as America's most beloved burger chain.

This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, though. Five Guys ranked second in the poll in 2016. Every year the poll surveys more than 100,000 U.S. consumers (age 15 or older) and asks them to rate 4,000 different brands online - based on familiarity, quality, and purchase consideration. Apparently Five Guys has fallen into favor this time around, and we can't help but think it's that hefty portion of fries.
