Myles Turner cheered for the Pacers so hard he ripped his pants

Never doubt Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner’s commitment to his teammates. Even when he’s not playing, he’ll give it all he’s got from the sidelines.

Turner proved as much during the Pacers’ 109-94 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday. The 21-year-old went a little too wild while celebrating a three-pointer and ripped his suit pants.

Turner posted a picture of the damage on his Instagram account. Here’s the before and after:

Whitney Medworth of SBNation captured the exact moment when the incident occurred.

Do you see it? Honestly, it’s tough to tell. It doesn’t help that the score graphic pops up in the lower part of the screen as Turner lands on the ground.

If that’s the moment his pants ripped, we have some questions. That replay shows that Turner ripped his pants at the end of the first quarter. Did he change his pants for the rest of the game? Did he gut it out and hang back on the bench with ripped pants? This feels like an important thing to know.

Turner has been sidelined after injuring his elbow during a Jan. 8 game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s currently listed as week to week. A few days after the injury, he was spotted wearing a brace on his arm.

Things have gotten better since then. As that Twitter clip shows, Turner’s elbow looks pretty good these days. We can’t say the same about his pants, unfortunately.
