The Houston Texans had made re-signing center Chris Myers a priority and managed to accomplish that goal on Friday evening, agreeing to a four-year, $25 million deal, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The deal included $14 million in guaranteed money.

Myers had visited the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, but the Texans stepped up the negotiations and managed to keep him in the fold and away from their division rival.
