Myanmar voices concern over death of citizens in Indonesian detention camp

Yangon, April 7 (Xinhua-ANI): The Government of Myanmar has voiced concern over Friday's death of eight Myanmar nationals and injury of two in a violent clash in an immigration detention camp in Medan, Indonesia, official media reported Sunday. Summoning Indonesian Ambassador Sebastianus Sumarsono in Yangon, Myanmar Deputy Foreign Minister U Thant Kyaw handed an aide memoire to the ambassador Saturday, calling on the Indonesian government to immediately investigate into the matter to expose the cause of the incident. On Friday, a violent clash broke out between a group of " Rohingyas" and 12 Myanmar nationals waiting for repatriation at the Medan immigration detention camp, according to the official report.(Xinhua-ANI)
