With a batch of songs that feature their signature vocals mixed with a nice blend of traditional roots music and love songs, reggae band Morgan Heritage's "Here Come the Kings" feels like a celebration.

The new album is their first in five years.

The title track is striking, "Call to Me" is uplifting and groovy, and "Perfect Love Song" is filled with good vibes and pitch perfect harmonies.

The album's themes are familiar for the band — the message of love, positive thoughts and simplicity is at the core. But "Here Come the Kings" still shows the reggae outfit's progress musically.

That's especially true on "Girl Is Mine," an impressive and bold cover of Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney's 1982 hit song. Morgan Heritage not only does the song justice, they also give it a nice reggae twist.
