Murphy Oil announces agreement with Wal-Mart for 200 new fuel stations at Super Centers

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) -- Murphy Oil USA says it's entered into an agreement with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for 200 new fuel stations in the Midwest and Southeast United States.

The El Dorado-based company says Murphy Oil will build more than 200 new fuel stations at existing Wal-Mart Super Centers.

Murphy Oil says the construction should be completed over the next three years.

Murphy Oil Corp. President and CEO Steven Cosse says the agreement is a "significant step forward" in Murphy Oil's long-term relationship with Wal-Mart. Cosse says Murphy Oil continues to pursue its business plan to separate its U.S. retail business into a stand-alone entity.
