Murder suspect sought in Richmond County

AUGUSTA, GA. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating a murder suspect.

39-year-old Ryon Lewis is wanted for Murder in reference to a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, May 8th at the intersection of Carp Drive and Tudor Drive in Augusta.

37-year-old Gregory Dunn of Thomas Lane was the victim in that shooting.

Lewis is known to frequent the Fish Village and Boy Scout Road neighborhoods.

He is known as “N.O.” and has family connections in New Orleans, LA.

Lewis has active arrest warrants through this agency for Murder and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of Crime.

He’s believed to be Armed and Dangerous.
