Murder arrest following fatal stabbing
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing.
Police were called to Tasmania Close in Basingstoke, Hampshire, just before 21:00 BST on Sunday.
One man in his 30s and from Basingstoke was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has since arrested a 55-year-old man from the town, who remains in custody.
A second victim, a man in his 30s from Newbury in Berkshire, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Officers would be patrolling the area for the next few days, the force added.
