Multiple people injured in Brooklyn crash: police

BENSONHURST, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Multiple people were injured in a crash in Brooklyn Wednesday evening, police said.

The incident happened at 76th Street and 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst around 7:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.

An 89-year-old driver had a medical emergency, causing him to hit a person riding an electric scooter, a 20-year-old in a car, and a pedestrian, police said.

Four people were hospitalized after the crash, authorities said.
