Multiple fire departments battle blaze at Turner duplex

TURNER — Fire crews were called out Tuesday afternoon to County Road for a fire at a two-family home.

An Androscoggin County Communications dispatcher confirmed a fire at 124 County Road on Tuesday afternoon, but was not able to provide more information.

Fire officials were not immediately available for comment at 2:30 p.m. with the fire still in progress.

Fire departments responding in mutual aid to Turner Fire Rescue include Monmouth, Greene, Sabattus, Auburn, Buckfield and Leeds.
