Multi-vehicle crash on Route 164 East Monday morning

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle crash on VA-164 near Towne Point Road caused delays Monday morning.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), a multi-vehicle crash caused all east lanes to close between College Drive and Towne Point Road.

The traffic camera, provided by VDOT, showed emergency vehicles blocking off access while crews worked to clear the road.

All lanes reopened around 8:30 a.m.
