Multi-vehicle crash causes traffic backup on I-25 near Larkspur

DENVER (KDVR) — A multi-vehicle crash caused major traffic backups on northbound Interstate 25 near Larkspur on Saturday afternoon.

All northbound lanes of I-25 were closed at the point of the crash as of 12:30 p.m., and Colorado Department of Transportation cameras showed traffic backed up several miles south of the crash.

Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 that several vehicles were involved, and multiple people were transported. The severity of the injuries was not known.

All of northbound I-25 was closed for a period of time but as of 1 p.m. all lanes were reopened.
