Multi-vehicle accident in Daniels leaves two dead
DANIELS, WV (WVNS) – Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle wreck on the morning of Sunday, April 14, 2024.
According to West Virginia State Police, around 9:30 A.M. a trooper responded to a three vehicle accident on the 1800 Block of Ritter Drive in Daniels. Once at the scene, 52-year-old Dewey Raynes and his wife 49-year-old Melinda Raynes were pronounced dead.

The people in the other two vehicles did not sustain any life-threatening injuries and refused medical treatment at the time.
A West Virginia State Police Crash Reconstruction Team responded to assist with the investigation.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
