Mullins woman allegedly shot boyfriend while child was home, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 40-year-old Mullins woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly shooting her boyfriend while their child was in the home, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities charged Shavon Tanicka Reed with first-degree domestic violence after she allegedly shot her boyfriend, who is also the father of her child, authorities said. The two live together and the child was in the home at the time of the shooting.

The man’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to authorities. Reed was released on bond from the Marion County Detention Center.
