Muldrow man arrested for first-degree murder

MULDROW, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Muldrow man was booked in the Sequoyah County Jail on May 13 for first-degree murder.

Matthew Whitfield, 35, is facing charges of obstruction of investigation and first-degree murder.

He was booked in the jail around 3:15 p.m.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says it will give more information on the case on May 15.
