MTA conductor punched in the face at Bronx subway station: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — An on-duty MTA conductor was punched in the face on Tuesday, April 30, the NYPD announced on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on a northbound 6 train at the Parkchester station, police said.

The 52-year-old female conductor was inspecting the train when an unidentified female approached her and started a verbal dispute, officials said. The individual punched the victim in the face and left the station, police said.

Police say the individual is approximately 25 to 35 years old and was last seen wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, gray camouflage pants, and black boots. The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect.
