Marvel boss Kevin Feige is a staunch believer in watching entertainment the way it was intended to be – just ask Ms Marvel actress Iman Vellani.

According to Vellani's co-star Saagar Shaikh (he plays Aamir Khan in the Disney+ series), who caught up with Marvel.com recently, Iman's casual viewing of WandaVision via her phone didn't go down too well with the studio boss on set.

"I'll tell you a secret. Kevin Feige got mad at her for watching WandaVision on her phone. He's like, 'They're not made for phones! Watch it on TV!'" he recalled.

Muneeba Khan's Zenobia Shroff pitched in with a story about the teen's giddy reaction to one WandaVision sequence.

"She was on her iPad between takes. WandaVision had come out, and [while she was watching] she said: 'What?' out loud and she fell to the floor because she was so excited about what she had just seen.

"I don't know what it was. I didn't want to interrupt her viewing. But yeah, she's very excited. She's a fangirl," she said.

We'd wager it was this bit.

Vellani herself previously commented on joining the MCU as superhero Kamala Khan.

"The fact that the show is being made and they're including this character in the MCU is [what's important]. I don't really have to go out of my way and talk about being a Muslim and being Pakistani – it all comes out in the show.

"People seeing a person like me involved in a project as big as this is, I think, inspiring enough," the 19-year-old shared.

Ms Marvel streams on Disney+, with new episodes premiering on Wednesdays.
