Mrs. Claus visits Monroeville Public Library

Dec. 7—MONROEVILLE — Mrs. Claus came to town Saturday to keep an eye on her husband's schedule and she landed at her favorite place: The Monroeville Public Library.

While she was there, she talked to more than 100 good Monroeville boys and girls and took notes for Santa.

One very good little girl was Monroeville Schools Superintendent Dr. Kristin Kaple-Jones. Dr. Kaple-Jones (who wore a hat and claimed to have a special connection to Santa) read books to some children while others completed crafts, shared snacks and checked out books to read at home.

The "Village Taxi Service" was a great addition and really helped get people safely to locations on both sides of U.S. 20. The library is open all month so join us for crafts and reading.
