Move over, Moto 360: This might be the best-looking smartwatch we’ve seen yet
So far there’s only been one smartwatch that’s earned wide acclaim for its stylish design: Motorola’s Android Wear-based Moto 360. However, Design Milk draws our attention to a new smartwatch called the Withings Activité that might give the Moto 360 a run for its money for the title of the world’s best looking smartwatch.
Like the Moto 360, the Withings Activité features a round face and it also features a sapphire glass touch screen and heritage tannery leather watch straps. From a functionality standpoint, Design Milk says the watch behaves must more like a fitness band than a jack-of-all-trades Android Wear device, although this isn’t such a bad thing considering that fitness tracking seems to be one of the few real popular uses for wearable computers so far. The watch also has strong water resistance and can go underwater for depths of up to 50 meters.
The one hitch with this gorgeous looking device is its price: At $390, it’s a lot pricier than other smartwatches we’ve seen released over the last year. Even so, if you’re willing to shell out for a smartwatch that actually looks cool to wear, the Withings Activité might be worth it.
