Before joining, he was with Wilson Elser. Katten Muchin Rosenman has hired Shan A. Haider as a partner in the firm’s structured finance and securitization practice. He was previously counsel at Perkins Coie. Aviation finance lawyer Terry Sanders has joined Hughes Hubbard & Reed as a partner. He joins from Clifford Chance. Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has hired Richard DiStefano as a shareholder in its corporate section. He joins the firm from Blank Rome. Hunton & Williams has added Jill Hayman as special counsel in the firm’s real estate development and finance practice. She was previously managing director in the legal department of Morgan Stanley. Windels Marx has hired Lynn Weinig as special counsel, focusing on real estate and corporate related matters. Formerly, she was with Wormser Kiely Galef & Jacobs. Phillips Nizer has added litigator Jeffrey Q. Smith as special counsel to the firm. He joins from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Proskauer Rose has promoted Ehud Barak, Chantel Febus, Malcolm Hochenberg, Vincent Indelicato and Frank Saviano to partner.
