Mounted Police Arrest Suspected Shoplifter in Albuquerque

A person was arrested for shoplifting by mounted police in New Mexico, Albuquerque Police Department (APD) said on March 29.

Footage posted to Facebook by APD shows the suspect trying to flee the scene as several mounted officers surround him on March 20.

The suspect, identified as a 30-year-old man, stole $230 worth of merchandise and was charged with shoplifting, evading police, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Credit: Albuquerque Police Department via Storyful
