High school students can enroll in engineering coursework at University of Mount Union to earn college credit during an annual summer program at the college.

University of Mount Union’s Experience Engineering Summer Program will run from June 16-22, offering experiences to those interested in pursuing engineering in college.

This summer marks the program’s seventh year.

EESP allows rising high school sophomores up to recent high school graduates preparing to enroll as a freshman in college, the opportunity to learn more about the engineering profession through engaging in hands-on engineering projects. Students who choose to attend Mount Union can also earn two college credits through the program at a fraction of the traditional undergraduate cost.

The program features personalized mentoring from Mount Union engineering students and projects led by Mount Union’s expert engineering faculty. Scholarship opportunities are also available to cover program costs for eligible students.

Space is limited and registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To learn more and register, visit mountunion.edu/eesp or email Angi Johnson at camps@mountunion.edu.
