Motorist rescued from flooded roadway in Franklin

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A motorist was rescued from a flooded roadway in Williamson County Thursday morning.

Crews were called to Old Hillsboro Road and Southall Road in Franklin around 5:30 a.m.

According to Williamson County Fire/Rescue, first responders were able to access the vehicle and get the motorist to dry land. No one was injured.

Remember to turn around if you see water over a roadway, no matter how shallow it looks. Turn around, don’t drown.
