Motorcyclist seriously injured in multi-vehicle crash at HRBT
HAMPTON — At least one person is seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash on I-64 Monday afternoon.
Virginia State Police responded to a crash at 12:26 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-64 at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel in Hampton, according to state police.
A motorcyclist has been taken to Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash had closed all travel lanes earlier in the afternoon, but they’ve all been reopened as of 2:15 p.m., according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved and no other information has been released. The crash is under investigation.
