Motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash on Shore Drive

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash Sunday afternoon on Shore Drive near the Little Creek base.

It happened around 1:14 p.m. at Shore Drive and Staples Mill Lane, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.

Police say the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and was in “stable” condition as of their last update.

The crash is still under investigation and no other details have been released at this time.
