Motorcyclist pronounced dead after overnight accident in McKinley Park neighborhood
A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a fatal accident overnight in the McKinley Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Around 2 a.m., the victim was riding a motorcycle southbound in the 3400 block of South Damen Avenue when he disregarded a red light and struck a Jeep SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Tuesday morning, the victim had not been identified.
The Major Accident Investigation Unit was investigating.
