Motorcyclist killed in St. John the Baptist Parish crash
ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Troopers with the Louisiana State Police are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist dead in St. John the Baptist Parish on Monday, April 15.
The LSP reported the crash happened on Louisiana 44 at Louisiana 54 in Garyville around 8 p.m.

LSP officials said an initial investigation shows 32-year-old Frankie Credidio was driving a motorcycle west on Louisiana 44 while 48-year-old Deshone Augustine was driving a Freightliner south on Louisiana 54.
According to the LSP, “the Freightliner failed to properly yield at the intersection and turned east onto LA 44” and drove into the path of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle then reportedly hit the back of the trailer the Freightliner was pulling.

Credidio suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. LSP officials said Credidio was not wearing the proper helmet at the time of the crash.
Augustine’s condition was not released.
LSP officials said the investigation is ongoing and routine toxicology samples were collected.
