Motorcyclist killed in Johnson County, Missouri crash

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 36-year-old Holden, Missouri man is dead following a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Johnson County, Missouri.

The crash was reported just before 6 a.m. on NW U.S. Highway 50, just past NW 1201st Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of a motorcycle was westbound on U.S. 50 when he attempted to pass a Ford F-150, struck the front driver’s side of the vehicle and overturned.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices, according to MSHP.
