Motorcyclist killed in crash on Alameda Parkway in Lakewood

DENVER (KDVR) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Lakewood Sunday afternoon.

The Lakewood Police Department told FOX31 that it happened in the 14800 block of West Alameda Parkway, just outside of the exit of Forsberg Iron Spring Park. The call came in at 4:28 p.m.

According to police, a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed, and the driver of the motorcycle died.

Everyone who was involved stayed on the scene and police said they were cooperating with police in the investigation.

The name of the motorcyclist who died will not be released until next of kin have been notified. No further information was immediately available.
