Motorcyclist hit by vehicle, sideshow occurred during investigation: OPD

(KRON) – A motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle on Sunday, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Oakland police officers were notified of a vehicle that collided with a motorcycle at Grand Avenue and Perkins Street around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday.

Responding officers located the driver of a motorcycle lying on the ground. The victim was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. The driver remained on the scene.

According to police, dirt bike sideshow activities were occurring simultaneously during the investigation.

It is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in this collision, OPD said.
