The crash occurred on the night of May 1, when a man, identified as Kevin Britton, 35, of Las Vegas, was riding a motorcycle east of Hacienda Avenue, approaching Decatur Boulevard in Spring Valley.

On May 8, Britton died as a result of the crash, police said. His death is the 66th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department jurisdiction for 2024. The crash remains under investigation by LVMPD officials.
