Motorcyclist killed in crash in Pompano Beach
A motorcyclist died Sunday evening when their bike crashed on Copans Road, just east of North Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach.
The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. near the 600 block of Copans Road.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Officials did not release the person’s name as of Sunday night.
Copans Road was shutdown for roughly six hours following the crash, reopening around 11 p.m.
