Motorbike crash claims life of 33-year-old Dover man

SUGAR CREEK TWP. ‒ The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a dirt bike crash that killed a Dover man.

Ryan Moore, 33, was found dead in the 8600 block of Alabama Avenue SW after deputies responded at 12:46 p.m. Monday.

He was believed to have been riding the motorcycle alone on private property Sunday evening.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Wilmot Fire Department, Stark County Coroner’s Office and the Canton/Stark County Metro Crash Team.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at 330-430-3800.

A GoFundMeaccount has been created to help pay for the Dover man's memorial expenses and his childrens' needs.

"Ryan was a great colleague, friend, and most of all, a father," organizer Ryan Moorehead said in the online appeal. "Ryan passed away doing what he loved - riding his dirt bike.

"One thing that I always admired about Ryan was his devotion to his kids. If you've ever had a conversation with him, you heard about Jace and/or Sydnee," Moorhead wrote. "Ryan was truly a 'shirt off his own back' guy. If you were down and needed something, he was there in a heartbeat to help, he'd give his last dollar to buy you lunch. He's going to missed dearly by all of us here at Diehl Kia, and we're grateful to have crossed paths with him."
