Motiva says Port Arthur, Texas, refinery operations remain stable

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Motiva Enterprises [MOTIV.UL] said operations at the nation's largest refinery remain stable as its Port Arthur, Texas, plant is inundated by heavy rains from Tropical Storm Harvey. Sources have told Reuters Motiva will decide on Tuesday morning whether to shut the 603,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur refinery because of high water in the plant and logistical constraints due to the storm.
