Cool temperatures expected early Thursday

Temperatures will be cooler early Thursday, so add an extra layer as you head out. Morning lows will be in the mid 30s with some areas dropping below freezing.

Temperatures will climb back into the mid-50s after lunch, so enjoy a walk around the block or a hike on the trails.

Friday will be the pick of the week with plenty of sunshine early and seasonal temps returning, but showers are back to start the weekend.

Off-and-on showers are in the forecast for Saturday, with the steadiest rain coming during the afternoon. A stray rumble of thunder is also possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Right now, Sunday looks dry, but check the Severe Weather Team 11 forecast often for the latest updates as you make plans.
