The Most Talked About Dress of Fashion Week Is Practically a Sleeping Bag

Calling all glampers! We’ve officially found the *perfect* outfit for your next outdoor adventure. Moncler, the high-end fashion label known for their down coats, just debuted a series of cozy-looking gowns at Milan fashion week that has the whole industry abuzz. The dresses, which are part of the label’s Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear collection, feature floor-grazing A-line skirts, long sleeves, capes, and hoods. Oh, and did we mention that they’re fashioned from the same material used to make their signature puffer coats?

The colorful show featured eight different sub-collections, which were debuted in uniquely themed “chambers,” (take a spin through the above video to see what we mean). Each micro-collection was helmed by a different major design talent each of whom paid homage to the brand’s popular down coats in various forms. The aforementioned puffy gowns were the brainchild of Valentino’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli — and they are genius.

So, will down-padded frocks be the next big thing? Millie Bobby Brown has already hopped on the trend, as evidenced by her look at the brand’s presentation, so…we think yes. But you’ll have to wait a hot sec before cuddling up in this look: according to WWD, it’ll be a few months before the collection hits stores. The snuggle is real.
