What are the most popular baby names of 2023? See what's predicted

Is your baby one of a kind? Or are they bound to be one of many at school with the same name?

Names.org released its predicted list of the most popular baby names in the U.S. in 2023, allowing people to see what babies born this year are being named and which names are the most popular in each state.

Names.org says it uses a variety of data sources to get its data, including information from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Social Security Administration, which annually releases the most popular baby names the year prior.

The outlet says it has one of the most accurate name predictors online, with 95% accuracy from 2018-21.

How a baby's name is spelled can also affected the rankings, as with Sophia or Sofia.
