Moscow reserves right to respond to Bulgaria on expulsion of diplomats - RIA

MOSCOW, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Moscow said on Friday it reserved the right to respond to Bulgaria for the expulsion of two Russian diplomats, RIA news agency reported, citing the Russian embassy in Sofia.

Russian news agencies said Bulgaria had declared two Russian diplomats persona non grata over spying allegations.

Earlier on Friday, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said Sofia was likely to expel two Russian diplomats who prosecutors suspect were involved in spying. (Reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin; Editing by Kevin Liffey)
