‘Morning Joe’: Donald Trump’s ‘Covfefe’ Tweet ‘Like a Kid Pooping His Pants’
On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough had quite the interesting take on President Trump’s recent “covfefe” tweet and White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s explanation for it. Spicer said in a press conference on Wednesday that only the president and a small group of people knew what “covfefe” meant. Scarborough wasn’t buying it.
Co-host Mika Brzezinski mentioned that before the show, Scarborough had said the tweet and the way it was handled was like a kid pooping his pants. Scarborough took it even further.
“It would be like somebody pooping their pants and then people looking at it, saying, ‘That’s modern art, don’t you understand? I am making a statement against Russian aggression in Crimea. And so this is my statement. And if you don’t get it, then there’s something wrong with you and not me.’”
Scarborough didn’t stop there. He pushed the covfefe/poopie-pants analogy even further, talking about sitting down in the poopie pants and hanging them on a wall for display.
