Morgan County Sheriff’s Office arrests 21-year-old man on rape, incest charges

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested a 21-year-old man on rape, incest and sodomy charges.

According to the sheriff’s office, an investigation was opened in August of 2021 after a rape/sexual assault report involving two minor victims was made.

Former Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely granted parole

Following the investigation, officials say Kolbi Leland Miller of Rogersville was named a suspect.

A grand jury issued an arrest warrant for Miller on seven sexual abuse-related charges. On April 11, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office arrested him.

He is charged with two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of second-degree rape, incest, first-degree sodomy and second-degree sodomy.

Miller was taken to the Morgan County Jail and is being held without bond.
