MORGAN CITY, La. (KLFY) — A Morgan City man was arrested in Lafourche Parish on a warrant accusing him of groping a child, authorities said.

Kevin Kinslow, 51, of Morgan City is charged with sexual battery and indecent behavior with juveniles in connection with a groping incident.

Morgan City Police said detectives began an investigation regarding a sexual battery that had occurred after receiving a report from the Department of Child and Family Services on Feb. 1. Police said Kinslow was identified as a suspect.

Kinslow was located Monday and arrested on the active arrest warrants in Lafourche Parish with the assistance of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Kinslow was transported and processed at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Facility and later transported to the Morgan City Jail. He remains incarcerated awaiting court proceedings, authorities said.
