More tiny homes coming to Harrisburg for veterans thanks to donation by local company

(WHTM)– Veterans who will be moving into a new community just for them will be colder in the summer and warmer in the winter.

The latest donation to the homes being built in Harrisburg is 15 heating and cooling units at the Tiny Homes of Veterans Grove, which is led by Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania.

Military roots run deep at the company donating, which is Hl Bowman.

“One of the big ways that we hire is through armed forces,” company president Bryan Enders said. “They get out of the military, they come in here, you know, whether it’s through plumbing, heating or air conditioning. So we have a lot of veterans that work at Bowman currently. so it was near and dear to our heart. And we just wanted to really help out. So, you know, the more we can help, the better.”
