Moody's upgrades state of Michigan's rating outlook for all bonds to positive from stable

LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Moody's Rating Service has upgraded the state of Michigan's rating outlook for all bonds to positive from stable.

Gov. Rick Snyder said in a statement that Thursday's announcement recognizes progress in the state to "get Michigan's fiscal house in order."

Snyder, state Treasurer Andy Dillon, and state Budget Director John Nixon met with representatives of three major rating agencies last week.
