Month-long diversion planned for Bullard Avenue in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A section of Bullard Avenue in Clovis is set to be closed for over a month as part of an ongoing street improvement project, with diversions in place for drivers.

The lane closure on Bullard Avenue will be between Villa Avenue and Minnewawa Avenue and will see traffic diverted to one lane in each direction, according to the City of Clovis.

The street improvement project begun on May 20 and is scheduled to continue until June 26. Drivers are asked to go carefully and follow the signs for diverted traffic.

According to city officials, the work includes the replacement of existing pavement, curb ramps and driveways. It will also bring changes to the median island, repainting traffic lines, traffic signal modification, and reinstallating traffic loop detectors.
