Montgomery man's Saturday shooting death investigated as homicide

Authorities have opened a homicide investigation after a Montgomery man was shot to death Saturday afternoon in Montgomery.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the shooting at 12:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Zelda Road, according to MPD. The victim, identified Sunday by MPD as 26-year-old Christopher Thomas, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been reported, and the shooting is under investigation by MPD.
