Montgomery man charged in Brundidge shooting

TROY, Ala (WDHN) — A Montgomery man is behind bars in Pike County after a parking lot shooting in April.

Brian Guice, 41, was arrested on Wednesday, May 1, and charged with one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle, one count of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle, and one count of certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.

According to Brundidge Police Chief Sam Green, in late April, Guice fired several shots into a vehicle in the parking lot of a business and injured one person.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and underwent treatment at a local hospital.

Chief Green says the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, and additional arrests are possible.
