Montgomery County police still searching for suspects in two fatal hit-and-runs

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCDP) is asking for the community’s help with two fatal hit-and-runs that occurred just three days apart.

On Friday, April 5, 52-year-old Ronaldo Frazese was fatally struck by a car at the intersection of Randolph Road and Kimblewick Drive. On Monday, April 8, 27-year-old Jacques Price was hit and killed at another Montgomery County intersection.

Police are still searching for suspects in both cases.

“The first collision was Friday night,” Captain Warren Jensen with MCDP’s Collision Reconstruction Unit said. “That collision involved two vehicles and a pedestrian. One of the vehicles remained on scene, one of the vehicles did not remain on scene.”

At a press conference held Wednesday, officers shared new details about Friday night’s case that is crucial to helping them find the suspect.

“Investigators are confident they have located the vehicle from Friday night’s collision in our Third District,” Jensen said. “That was located this morning.”

Then, information was provided on Monday’s fatal hit-and-run near the intersection of Monterrey Drive and Veirs Mill Road.

“That involves a subject who was riding a skateboard on Veirs Mill Road and was struck by a vehicle that did not remain on scene,” Jenson said.

Officials say both deadly incidents involved white Acura TL sedans, but they’ve confirmed that they are not the same vehicle.

Marcus Glivings is Jacques Price’s father. He says it’s still hard to believe his son is gone.

“Absolute devastation,” Glivings said. “It’s still surreal.”

Price was a father to a 5-year-old son. Glivings says now he wants justice for his son.

“Turn yourself in,” Glivings said. “This didn’t have to happen. I’m sure it was an accident. You could’ve called 911 at the very least.”

Anyone with information regarding either of these two cases is encouraged to contact MCDP immediately.
