Montgomery County police searching for man accused of trying to kidnap 10-year-old girl

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — On Thursday, police released a sketch of a man suspected of trying to kidnap a 10-year-old girl in Montgomery County in March.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said the girl was sitting outside at an apartment complex in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Rd. on March 10.

She told police that around 3 p.m., an unknown man “grabbed her arm and told her to come with him,” according to a news release from MCPD.

She told police she thinks the man ran away when he saw police cars.

Police said the man had a light complexion, a thin build, a tattoo on the left side of his face and a straight piece of blonde hair. He seemed to be between 25 and 35 years old.
