"In addition to improving their academic skills in core areas, students will work with our college educational advocates to prepare for their higher education experience in the fall," Navock said. "They’ll meet with advisors, learn about financial aid opportunities and gain career readiness skills."

MCCC will provide all of the learning materials and supplies, including a free laptop and Wi-Fi hotspot access while they are in the program, breakfast each day, student engagement activities, resource information, college navigation, access to the college’s Heck’s Market food pantry and a $500 stipend based on attendance and participation.

To enroll, students should fill out the Bridges to College — Husky Hype-Up interest form at monroeccc.edu/husky-hype-up. A program coordinator or manager will then contact the student to provide more information.
