MongoDB reports smaller loss than expected, ADP lower, Time Warner up

Here are the charts of the day for Wednesday March 14, 2018.

MongoDB (MDB): Shares are rising in early trade. The database platform company reported a smaller loss than expected, with revenue that topped Street expectations.

ADP (ADP): Shares are lower in early trade. The payroll and HR services company is on watch today after Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square trimmed its stake in the company by $125 million. Pershing Square, which launched an unsuccessful proxy fight against ADP last year, still owns 7.2% stake in the company.

Time Warner (TWX): Shares are slightly higher here. A judge overseeing the anti-trust trial over AT&T’s purchase of Time Warner ruled against the Justice Department in a pre-trial motion and will allow AT&T to present a key piece of evidence in its defense of its merger with Time Warner.
